Thinking about a website audit?
Running an online business isn’t easy and we know that the right help can make all the difference. Your website needs to showcase your business and needs to convert your ideal customers.
Is your website set up to attract and convert your customers? We would love to help you find out!
How Our Audit Works
01
After signing up for our audit, we will schedule a date to review your site and a date to review the results with you.
02
Before your audit review, we deep dive into several areas of your website to provide advice on how it could serve your brand and your business better.
03
We will share + discuss our findings over Zoom before sending you a detailed report with everything we discussed.
What does our audit include?
A detailed review of site-wide, page-specific, and admin areas.
A full review of our recommendations via a shared-screen video conference (so that we can point out specific issues and discuss possible solutions).
A comprehensive, written document detailing all of our recommendations.
“Thank you so much for your time and
sharing your expertise regarding our website!
All of the information is so helpful and
I'm confident that it will make our website
all that it should be.”
- Laurie (The Hermitage)
Our Audit Methodology
When we audit a website, we walk through every key page and write our recommendations based on what we saw - every recommendation takes into consideration how a change would affect the user and admin experience. We also review some of the backend of your website infrastructure as well as popular paths to your website.
The key elements we look at are design, flow, and the following of best practices (brand, web, and marketing). The motivation behind most of our recommendations are based on the following website, information architecture and design philosophies:
All pages should make use of current best practices for mobile and desktop.
Content, design and brand consistency are key to providing a good user experience.
Website visitors and search engines prioritize similar values: Every page should have good content, an intuitive layout, navigational clarity, and clear calls to action.
For a Shopify audit, our typical outline includes:
Audit Introduction: The who, what, when, and how of our audit.
Site-wide Feedback: Theme, Branding, Announcement Bar, Header Navigation, Mobile-specific Issues, etc.
Page-specific Feedback: Homepage, Product pages, Collection pages, Policies, About, Contact, Blog, etc.
Admin Area Feedback: Apps, Discounts, Settings…including notifications, shipping, and checkout!
Miscellaneous: Anything that doesn’t fit in the above, including Google, SEO, email marketing, etc.
The Cost
Our audit service costs $650, which includes having us spend 6 - 8 hours reviewing and documenting our findings AND 1.5 hours discussing the results with you.
SPECIAL: After the audit, if you are interested in having us to help resolve some of the issues discussed, up to $150 of the audit cost will be credited towards future work with R + R Creative Co (for any tasks at or above $300 that start within 3 months of the audit review).
